About the Stainless Steel Garden Torch with Wooden Pole
After dark, make your yard glow with these Stainless Steel and Wooden Pole Garden Torches. The stainless steel oil reservoir is mounted on top of a sturdy wooden pole. Light a path or stake out your territory with these slender pole torches. The pole torches can be wall mounted by using the optional wall holders, which can be purchase separately. The pointed pole bottom makes for easy ground placement. To make placement a real breeze, optional bases and support pegs are available. A full fuel reservoir provides approximately 8 hours of burn time. Sold individually, plan ahead and order enough to light your path.
About the Materials
Stainless Steel is a generic term for a family of low carbon alloy steels containing 10.5% or more chromium. The corrosion resistance and other useful properties of steel are enhanced by increasing the chromium content and adding other elements such as molybdenum, nickel, and nitrogen. Our German composition of 18/8 austenitic stainless steel, (18% Chromium, 8% Nickel) is used in a significantly thicker gauge than typical applications of its kind. This chemical composition gives stainless steel a self-healing property. A layer on the surface, only a few atoms thick, naturally forms and with the assistance of oxygen from air or water rebuilds itself when scratched. This is the reason why stainless steel does not require any coating or other corrosion protection to remain bright and shiny even after decades of use. It is also 100% RECYCLABLE.
