About the New York Contemporary Electric Fireplace
The New York Electric fireplace is a long, linear contemporary hang on the wall style with a built-in 4800 BTU heater. It has an glass front that shields rocks and beach stones which are included with the fireplace. Glass separates the rocks from the flame effect. The very realistic flame effect is created by heat blowing from the top of the fireplace and moving ribbons which make for a random, flickering pattern. Our lightweight, wall mounted electric fireplaces are delivered as a complete package and need no assembly. Installation can be done just about anywhere as it requires no venting. The New York is simply unpacked and mounted on a wall. A detailed instruction manual and safety instructions are also included. Please note that this fireplace is not intended as a primary heat source.
